The Ladner Tennis Club invites returning members and interested tennis enthusiasts to its opening day on Sunday from noon to 4 p.m. Snacks will be provided. Those attending are advised to bring their rackets.
The club is located behind Hawthorne Elementary beside the baseball diamonds.
The club's regular hours are: Tuesday and Thursday from 6 to 10 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The club's active season runs from April to September.
Amenities at Hawthorne Park include four courts, privacy/wind screening, a ball machine and lighting for evening play.
The club also has a certified instructor available for private lessons.
