Mr. Mom’s World Catering has just the thing to cure the wet and cold rainy weather.

Today (Tuesday) from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. swing by the East Delta Hall (104th St. and Ladner Trunk Road) for Mr. Mom’s pop-up café featuring fresh baked buns and hot borscht.

According to Mr. Mom’s, the recipe is adapted from the borscht that Mr. Mom's grandmother used to make. She passed down much of her cooking knowledge to Mr. Mom, and was influential in helping him become who he is today.

While you are at the pop-up café, check out their Ukrainian-inspired take-home items, which were originally only available for the holiday season, are available this year as well. Their perogies, kolbassa, and cabbage rolls can be purchased at the East Delta Hall on Tuesdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. or ordered by the dozen by calling 604-782-7298.
