'Proven leaders' make up hospital foundation board

A new board of directors was announced at the Delta Hospital and Community Health Foundation’s recent annual general meeting. The 2018/19 board includes chair Ingrid Barnes, past chair Randy Kaardal, vice-chair Andrew Clark and treasurer Phil Posehn.

A new board of directors was announced at the Delta Hospital and Community Health Foundation’s recent annual general meeting.

The 2018/19 board includes chair Ingrid Barnes, past chair Randy Kaardal, vice-chair Andrew Clark and treasurer Phil Posehn. Returning directors include Sean Clayton, Maury Kask, Don Livingston, Pam Paton, Karla Rockwell and Don Sangster, while the following new directors were welcomed: Tanya Corbet, Andrew Jackson, Knut Nordlie and Greg Umbach.

“As proven leaders in our community, our directors bring many years experience and an array of skills to our board,” said foundation executive director Lisa Hoglund. “We congratulate them and are excited to work closely with them now and in the coming years.”

“I am looking forward to working with my fellow board members and the great team we have at the foundation,” said Barnes. “We are dedicated to ensuring the best healthcare possible for our community.” 

Celebrating its 30th year fundraising for Delta Hospital, the foundation raised over $2.3 million in the 2017-2018 fiscal year. These funds supported critical needs at Delta Hospital.
