On March 2, the South Delta IG Wealth Management Walk for Alzheimer’s planning team held their first of two pub nights at the Rose & Crown Pub in Tsawwassen. The evening was a tremendous success.
With a wide spread of raffle baskets to choose from, silent auction items, a wine pull, 50/50 draws and a Toonie toss, the group was able to raise $4,600. This would not have been possible without the generous donations received from all the sponsors that donated attractive prizes. In total, 100 tickets were sold and the visitors at the Rose & Crown happily participated in the many events. A special thank you to Shelley at the Rose & Crown Pub and her team of great servers who assisted in making it a great night.
A big thank you to the planning team and Geramy Powell for selling 100 tickets and gaining the support of our community that evening. It was a heartwarming evening to see our community rally around Ron Powell our honoree this year.
All funds raised will help the Alzheimer Society of BC provide support and resources to families going through dementia in South Delta.
