TB Vets Charitable Foundation has donated $10,462 to purchase respiratory equipment at Delta Hospital through the Delta Hospital and Community Health Foundation.

Delta’s senior population is one of the largest in Fraser Health and continues to grow. Thanks to the recent donation, Delta Hospital’s respiratory therapy department has a new Optiflow system, Airvo system and vital sign monitor all in support of patients with respiratory illnesses and difficulty breathing.

“We are so thankful for TB Vets and their long history of helping fund priority equipment for respiratory therapy at Delta Hospital and across British Columbia,” says Angela Turner, major giving manager for the foundation.

Since 1946, TB Vets has distributed over $13 million in funding across the province for urgent respiratory equipment, education and research.
