Tradition of giving back continues for Ladner CoPS

This holiday season, the station Delta police constable and community volunteers from the Delta Police District Community Police Office – Ladner are continuing a tradition started by a long serving community police volunteer.

"It was the initiative of now-retired volunteer Theresa McDermid that got the ball rolling on this,” said Const. Ken Kirk. “Every holiday season for the past several years, our volunteers have donated cash, gift cards and presents to a deserving family here in Ladner. It is definitely a great feeling to be able to give back to the community and we wanted to keep this initiative going despite McDermid's retirement from the DCPO.”
