The annual Tsawwassen Car Show and Shine at the Royal Canadian Legion is set for this weekend.
There will be a drive by of cars tomorrow from 5 to 6 p.m. followed by a dinner for Legion members and invited guests and a dance at 8:30 p.m. with the music by the Centaurs.
On Sunday the day begins with a pancake breakfast at 8 a.m. for participants and 9 a.m. for everyone else. The show opens at 10 a.m. and there will be karaoke/DJ entertainment with Jim and local singers, and at 2 p.m. there will be barbecue hamburgers and hotdogs and pop for $5. Donations can be made ay any time at the donations table.
The show is a fundraiser for Honour House Society, "a home away from home for Canadian Forces personnel, emergency services personnel and their families to stay while they are receiving medical care and treatment in the Metro Vancouver area," the group's website states.
