Tsawwassen author Anthony Dalton is partnering with Richmond Public Library to offer a free workshop, Marketing & Promotion for Writers, on Wednesday, April 16 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Brighouse (Main) Branch, 7700 Minoru Gate.

Dalton, the past president of the Canadian Authors Association, will share his experience and insights on the skills required for self-promotion to editors, publishers and the public. The workshop is for new and established writers of all genres.

Dalton is the author of the new novel Relentless Pursuit, plus 13 non-fiction books and the co-author of two others. He has won awards and honours in

Canada for his writing and for his services to other writers.

A former expedition leader in Africa, the Middle East and Arctic, Dalton has had his illustrated articles published in magazines and newspapers in 20 countries and nine languages around the world.

He now spends a few months each year travelling the world as a guest speaker for two cruise ship lines, while maintaining a busy writing and teaching schedule.
