Greg Watts from TOOBs recently presented a $1,000 donation to Anita Sihota, executive director for Delta Community Living Society. The donation will be directed to the non-profit society’s recreation programs.

Graffiti walls taking shape at Delta libraries allow patrons to share their favourite book with other Delta residents. Once a sheet is full, the graffiti will be applied to windows and walls, transforming the library into a showcase of urban art.

The Pie Ladies of Tsawwassen United Church are at it again. They have produced 342 assorted pies so far and still counting for their Fall Fair and Bake Sale taking place this Saturday at the church, 693-53rd St.

The Earthwise Society will be hosting its fifth annual Hundred Mile Banquet on Saturday, Nov. 2 - a five-course gourmet feast that celebrates local food and community. The Hundred Mile Banquet is Earthwise's signature fundraiser.
