Sidekick Players is excited about re-opening in the Tsawwassen Arts Centre.

Rehearsals are underway for Daniel MacIvor’s Marion Bridge and all is clear to open on Nov. 12. Because of smaller audiences due to COVID restrictions, the play will run four weekends with 14 performances in total. More news about the shortened, upcoming season will be coming soon.

Sidekick’s Annual General Meeting will be on Monday, Oct. 18 at 7 p.m. This will be a ZOOM meeting and all are invited. Voting privileges are for those who are members in good standing. Memberships are $10 per adult or $15 for two adults living in the same house. Memberships can be paid by e-transfer to sidekickplayers@outlook.com or by cheque sent to Sidekick Players Club, 5065 Stevens Drive, Delta, B.C., V4M-1N8.

This meeting will include elections for two positions, president and treasurer. Both are two-year terms. The standing president and treasurer (Carroll Lefebvre and James Allan) will let their names stand for re-election. If you wish to nominate anyone, you must be a member in good standing and so must the nominee. Nominations must be received by Oct. 15.

If you plan on participating in this meeting, email: sidekickplayers@outlook.com so that you can be linked to the meeting. New members are more than welcome.
