A Delta resident has published his newest book which tells a heart-warming Christmas story suitable for all ages.

The author, who is writing under the pseudonym Anton Von Stefan, says ‘A Very Strange Christmas!’ is the second book he has written. The piece is 90 pages long and was produced by Granville Island Publishing in Vancouver.

“The lead character is a nefarious loner who, on Christmas Eve of all nights, finds himself penniless and hungry,” Von Stefan wrote in an email to the Optimist. “Aiming to rectify that sad but self-inflicted situation, he prowls the streets looking for his next victim. A series of magical occurrences follow which drastically change the lives of everyone involved for the better.”

Retailing at $17.95, Von Stefan recommends the pocket-sized book as an ideal stocking stuffer for anyone who enjoys a good read.

Some of the book’s reviews are already in,

“The tale within this book has the cozy fireside feeling of all great storytelling coupled with the magic of Christmas past,” writes Mary Jean Dunsdon, owner of The Licorice Parlour candy stores in Vancouver.

The book is for sale at smaller retailers in North Delta and the greater Vancouver area and may also be ordered from Granville Island Publishing.
