Delta Choral Society's A World of Musical Gifts concert takes place Saturday at the South Delta Baptist Church at 2 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.

The Delta Choral Society is thrilled to be performing two holiday concerts at the South Delta Baptist Church this Saturday, Dec. 3.

This year's seasonal offering, A World of Musical Gifts, will feature three wonderful choirs and an array of music from every corner of the world – Together; the Delta Children’s Choir, Chamber Choir, and Adult Community Choir will celebrate and share the joys of Kwanzaa, Hanukkah and, of course, Christmas.

Sharing the gift of music with audience members is just part of their annual winter event. Many choir members will be wearing 'red dress' pins to show their support for and draw attention to the many missing and murdered Indigenous women, girls, and two spirit individuals in Canada.

The Delta Choral Society will have donation boxes in the lobby and will donate the net proceeds from their concession sales to the “Unique Get Together Society”, which is dedicated to empowering Indigenous and all marginalized communities through support programs and activities. www.uniquegettogethersociety.com.

A World of Musical Gifts promises to be a wonderful kick-off to your holiday season and a festive delight for the entire family.

There is a matinee concert at 2 p.m. and an evening concert at 6:30 p.m.

Tickets are available online at https://www.deltachoral.ca, directly from choir members, or at the door prior to the show.

Tickets are $25 for adults, $20 for students and seniors while children under 10 are free.
