Rotary Park and the surrounding grounds around Delta Municipal Hall and the Ladner Leisure Centre were transformed into a fictional Pennsylvania university Monday for the filming of the new AMC series Straight Man.

Starring Bob Odenkirk, the series is the adaption of the Richard Russo novel of the same name.

Odenkirk plays William Henry Deveraux Jr. “Hank,” the unlikely interim chair of the English department at Railton College while he experiences a mid-life crisis.

It’s Odenkirk’s third series with AMC, following Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul where he played the popular small time criminal attorney Saul Goodman.

Filming of the first season began last month and wraps up in December with production taking place throughout Metro Vancouver.
