Delta Photo Club presents its next work shop entitled Astrophotography 101 with award-winning photographer Liron Gertsman.

The Zoom online presentation is at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 2.

The night sky is full of spectacular space objects that can be revealed in remarkable detail using long exposure photography.

Join Gertsman on a virtual exploration of these sights, with a focus on the gear, in-the-field techniques, and post-processing techniques used to achieve the most eye-catching and high-quality images of the stars.

You may have seen him on CBC’s The National, heard his voice on CBC Radio One, or seen his work in publications such Canadian Geographic Magazine, The Guardian, GEO Magazine, and others. Although just in his early 20s, Gertsman is already an accomplished nature photographer. His work has been experienced by millions in some of the largest museums across the world, including the Natural History Museum in London and the Smithsonian in Washington D.C.
