A personal fight against cancer takes courage. A community's fight takes commitment.
The Canadian Cancer Society is looking for volunteers to help co-ordinate the North Delta Relay For Life 2012, which brings together people in the community who have a common goal of fighting cancer.
When you participate in Relay For Life, you help the Canadian Cancer Society fund life-saving research; caring support programs for people living with cancer and their loved ones; and strategies to prevent cancer before it starts.
Leadership volunteers and staff partners provide a structure to support a successful Relay where people understand their roles and are provided with the resources and training to carry them out.
A date and location have yet to be determined for the inspirational, non-competitive, 12-hour event in 2012.
