The Rotary Club of Tsawwassen proudly donated $8,000 to ICEF Canada last month. ICEF Canada is a Tsawwassen-based not-forprofit organization that has been working in support of the Tekera community in rural Uganda for several years.

The Rio Samaya Band, featuring Pancho and Sal, will return to Genesis Theatre in Ladner for a performance of world beat and popular music next Friday. The show, part of the live@5005 series, is set for 8 p.m.

South Delta Artists Guild’s latest exhibit runs until April 19 at Gallery 1710

The Sidekick Players Club is auditioning its last production of the season this weekend.

A fundraising concert for the Delta Community Music School’s Thrive City String Boot Camp will be held tomorrow in Ladner.

Local performer Tracy Neff will portray Eliza Doolittle in Royal City Musical Theatre’s production of My Fair Lady. “I think it’s an amazing part to play because it’s really multi-faceted,” says Neff.

The South Delta Probus Club is tackling food, nutrition and myths at its monthly meeting next week. Scheduled for Wednesday, April 15 at 10 a.m.

It's been a busy year so far for members of South Delta's air cadet squadron.

Ryan McAllister is next up at the monthly Songwriter Café tomorrow night in Tsawwassen. McAllister, who has performed on stages with the likes of Willie Nelson, Sam Roberts, Brian Doerkson and Michael W.
