Hockey was the name of the game last Friday at English Bluff Elementary. The Tsawwassen school held Hockey Day at English Bluff with students getting the chance to play street hockey and sing the Hockey Song by Stompin' Tom Connors.

The local Seedy Saturday and Garden Expo is back this year with some changes. The Ladner Community Garden has partnered with the Corporation of Delta to present the now two-day event and the Harris Barn in Ladner will serve as its new location.

The Ladner Zephyrs have continued their support of Delta Hospital by raising $1,770 toward the expansion of the diagnostic services department.
