LBA and TBIA contest

Do you have 5 minutes for 5 days to support a #DeltaBC business?

Join in the “5 minutes for 5 days Review-A-Thon” and you could win a $25 gift card to the Sunny Tsawwassen (Tsawwassen Business Improvement Association) or Lander Business Association’ business of your choice.

The contest is simple. Posting a positive Google review of a local business is a no-cost way to show your support. Positive Google reviews help local businesses rank higher in Google searches and tell other people how great they are.

Starting Monday, April 27 and the following five days, the LBA and Sunny Tsawwassen will post a business category starting at 7 a.m. (ex: retail business, professional services, etc.) and ask you to write a positive Google review for your favourite #DeltaBC business that fits the category.

At the end of the week, both the LBA and Sunny Tsawwassen will select five random reviews to receive a $25 gift card to the business of your choice. You have five opportunities to win.

Please note that there may be a slight delay in the Google reviews appearing on the web due to an announced slowdown at Google.

“The TBIA and the LBA have joined forces to put together a promotion that will support all the businesses of Delta,” said Michelle Barlow, executive director for TBIA. “It is a great, effective no-cost way for our community to continue to show their support for our local businesses.”

The campaign will be running until May 1 and again from May 4 to 8.

A random draw of the reviewer names will be taking place on Saturday, May 2 and May 9. Both the LBA and the TBIA will award five prizes.

“Our community is doing a great job to support local businesses during this pandemic,” said LBA president Jill McKnight. “By working together with the Tsawwassen BIA, we are offering another no-cost opportunity for the community to show their support to #DeltaBC businesses.”
