A Friday night fashion show in Ladner Village

Event was a fundraiser for the Orange Shirt Society

A crowd of about 150 turned up at Ladner Village’s pop-up park, at the corner of Delta and Bridge Streets, last Friday night for a terrific cause.

Angela and Camille’s Fashion Fest 2021 was a fundraiser for the Orange Shirt Society and plenty in the community stepped up to offer their support.

Organized by Camille Turner and Angela Husvik, owners of Camille’s Boutique and Gallery and Angela’s Boutique respectively, the evening featured food provided by Chopped Leaf and a “half-time” show by performers from Freeflight Dance Company.

Construction was taken care of by Dunbar Lumber while Ladner Photo Studio looked after the photography. The show’s MC Carol Miles was presented with a bouquet of flowers in tribute to her pending retirement as owner of South Delta Heels.

The volunteer models included Delta councillor Dylan Kruger.
