The Delta Hospital Auxiliary's Christmas store is once again open for business.
Bursting at the seams with everything for holiday decorating and entertaining, this year's Christmas outlet is located in the former Dog & Pony Shop next door to the auxiliary's main thrift store on Ladner's Delta Street.
The auxiliary celebrated a fun-filled a grand opening on Saturday that saw a long line of customers gather before the doors opened.
For years the auxiliary operated its Christmas store at various spots around town. Now that's changed after the society purchased the retail space next door to the thrift store.
It takes two-and-a-half weeks and hundreds of volunteer hours to set up the seasonal store and hundreds more volunteer hours to run it. Volunteers are needed again. The Christmas store is open Monday to Saturday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
