Buy some sweet treats and support Canuck Place Children’s Hospice

Ladner’s Richlea Bakery and Boca Grande will be donating to support campaign
Canuck Place cookie day
Ladner’s Richlea Bakery and Boca Grande are supporting Canuck Place Children’s Hospice through donating partial-proceeds from selling specific sweet treats during the annual Cookie Day fundraiser.

If you’re in the mood for something tasty and are looking to help raise funds for Canuck Place Children’s Hospice, head over to Ladner’s Richlea Bakery and Boca Grande.

Both the bakery and the donut and taco shop will be donating partial proceeds of specific treats toward B.C. and the Yukon’s only pediatric palliative care provider, Canuck Place, as part of their annual Cookies for Canuck Place campaign.

Richlea Bakery is donating $2 from each “Canuck Pucks” cookie purchased between now and Feb. 28, and Boca Grande will be donating 50 per cent of proceeds from their “Boca Poco” donuts from Feb. 23 to 27.

The two Ladner shops are among 17 others participating across the Lower Mainland.

The inaugural Canuck Place Cookie Day took place on Feb. 28, 2019 as a way to engage schools across the province of B.C. to sell cookies and raise funds for the children at Canuck Place. During the past three years more than 80 schools and 15 bakeries have participated raising more than $60,000 for Canuck Place.”

By donating or fundraising for Canuck Place, proceeds go toward supporting more than 800 children and families from B.C. and the Yukon.

This year, Cookie Day is on Feb. 24, where schools can join in and hold a bake sale to support the hospice.
