. The Delta Chamber Business Fair is set for Saturday, Sept. 15 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Scottsdale Centre in North Delta. Exhibiting businesses will be able to increase their exposure to a wide variety of potential customers and stand out from their competition by meeting consumers face-to-face, according to the chamber.

. A Women's Small Business Workshop on focus marketing goes Wednesday, Sept. 19 at 5 p.m. at the Coast Tsawwassen Inn.

The workshop gets at the why of a business marketing. The interactive session will guide participants through the process of building a sound marketing strategy for their business.

Betty-Ann Thomson, who has had her own consulting business for the past 16 years, will facilitate.

The workshop costs $20 for members and $40 for non-members.

. YVR senior executive Tony Gugliotta will be the guest speaker at a chamber luncheon on Wednesday, Sept. 26 at 11: 30 a.m. at the Delta Town & Country Inn.

He'll be talking about the Vancouver Airport Authority's vision of YVR being the premier gateway airport between Asia and North America.

Gugliotta, who's also chair of BCIT's board of governors, will touch on the board's policy perspective on the value of BCIT to business and economic development of the province.

The luncheon costs $35 for members and $45 for non-members.
