Tsawwassen Mills has limited its hours, but remains open.

According to the Mills’ website, the mall hours are now Monday to Saturday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. They reduced these hours on March 16.

Several retailers have elected to close temporarily, so shoppers are encouraged to reach out to the mall or the specific retailer. The Mills said these reduced hours will remain in place for two weeks, at which point they will re-evaluate the situation.

“Our malls remain open for now,” said Kristina Shier, marketing/tourism director in an email to the Optimist. “The safety and health of our visitors, customers, tenants and their employee are of the utmost importance for Ivanhoé Cambridge. Regarding the COVID-19 situation, be assured that we have been closely following the recommendations of the Public Health Agency of Canada, which is working with the provincial governments and international partners, including the World Health Organization (WHO).

“Please note, that we are ready to implement and deploy additional measures that will be determined and imposed by public health agencies and governmental authorities.”
