Delta builder is finalist for national award

Kemp Construction Management Ltd. has been recognized as a finalist in the 2023 CHBA National Awards for Housing Excellence in the category of best custom home 4,000 to 5,000 sq. feet.

The home, a modern country farmhouse was thoughtfully designed by the local architectural firm Buro47. The build achieved an energy performance of 50 per cent better than a typical home and is categorized as Step Code 4. Built for a local business owner – this home ticks the boxes for energy performance and style. 

The CHBA National Awards for Housing Excellence competition recognizes the best in Canadian new homes, renovations, community development, and residential marketing. The 2023 competition received nearly 800 entries from rural areas and large cities, and from small family-run businesses and larger developers. Categories feature a range of awards for many different types of projects, including entry-level homes, attached and detached, production and custom homes, renovations at different price points, net zero homes and renovations, new and growing communities, and a variety of residential marketing efforts.

“Congratulations to all finalists across the country. It’s an honour to receive recognition in our industry,” said Kemp Construction in a news release.
