Four local chartered accountant (CA) students earlier this month graduated from the CA qualification program.

Ramandeep Aujla (Office of the Auditor General of B.C.), Karalene Boyle (KPMG LLP), Jamey Johal (Ernst & Young LLP) and Kate Norris (PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP) are now eligible for membership in the Institute of Chartered Accountants of B.C.

"These students have earned their CA designation by successfully completing a rigorous and competitive academic program, focused on business and accounting competencies," said Richard Rees, FCA, CEO of the institute. "We are very proud of them, and they should take great pride in having earned their CA designation."

To qualify as a CA, students must have a university degree or equivalent, 30 months of practical work experience in an approved CA training office and complete courses through the CA qualification program as well as pass a comprehensive rigorous national final exam.
