The Business Improvement Association (BIA) of Tsawwassen and the Tsawwassen Sun Festival committee have just produced this year's summer banners highlighting two great events happening in the community.

These banners will be given to the Corporation of Delta to add to its summer banner program in Tsawwassen, which will be installed by the end of May.

"We are very lucky to have Bill Turecki from ADG Projects, a Tsawwassen designer who specializes in street banner design and production across North America, to work with us on this project," said Ana Arciniega, executive director of the BIA.

"We believe that banners add so much colour and vibrancy to our streets. Besides, it is a great way to promote these fantastic community events to our residents and visitors alike."

Elaine Campbell, Sun Festival co-ordinator, and Brad Gaze, Sun Festival chair, are delighted to have colourful banners depicting Sunny Sam, an icon for the Sun Fest for over 40 years. This signature event will take place during the August long weekend.

The BIA is celebrating its fifth annual Tsawwassen Outdoor Movie Nights on July 28 and Aug. 11 at Diefenbaker Park and Aug. 25 at the Tsawwassen Town Centre Mall.
