The three Delta Rotary clubs, Ladner, North Delta and Tsawwassen, are once again seeking nominations from the public for their annual Delta Rotary Business Ethics Award.

The three Delta Rotary clubs, Ladner, North Delta and Tsawwassen, are once again seeking nominations from the public for their annual Delta Rotary Business Ethics Award.

The program, initiated last year, is intended to recognize a local business that has exemplary business practises and serves as a role model for others in the community. Last year's recipient was Cap's South Shore Cycles of North Delta.

The nominees will be judged based upon their actions being in accord with the Rotary four-way test:

1. Is it the truth?

2. Is it fair to all concerned?

3. Will it build goodwill and better friendships?

4. Will it be beneficial to all concerned?

To be eligible for the award, the business must be located within the Municipality of Delta and have been in business for a minimum of one year as of the nomination date. Nominations are open until Friday, Oct. 26 and can be made at www.rotarydeltaawards.com. Three of the nominated businesses will be chosen as finalists by an independent judging panel.

The winner will be presented with the award at the Delta Chamber of Commerce "Hats Off to Excellence" awards dinner on Friday, Nov. 16 at the Delta Town & Country Inn.
