The Boys and Girls Club of South Coast B.C.'s Skills Link program combines valuable classroom training with work-placement assistance for young people seeking employment.

The next program begins Dec. 5 and continues to Feb. 20, 2012.

If you are unemployed, not currently attending school and are between the ages of 15 and 30, you are eligible for the program.

During the past five years, Skills Link has assisted over 100 community youth in finding a place in the workforce thanks to the hands-on support of local employers who provide invaluable internships.

Many former clients have gone on to pursue careers in plumbing, cooking, childcare, security and more.

Skills Link is clientcentered and focuses on the employment needs and interests of the participants.
