The Coast Tsawwassen Inn was recently awarded two "best in class" awards at the Coast Hotels & Resorts Leadership Summit in Portland, Oregon.
Coast Hotels & Resorts named the Coast Tsawwassen Inn as the Hotel of the Year amongst franchised hotels. The award is based on overall guest satisfaction as well as a careful review of internal operations.
The Coast Tsawwassen Inn also took top honours for guest satisfaction receiving the best satisfaction, intent to return and value (SIRV) award among franchised hotels as measured by guest comment cards.
The Coast Tsawwassen Inn regularly receives exceptional feedback from guests relating to quality and service. Surveys include comments such as "a very friendly hotel, all staff were pleasant and courteous," "even better than I anticipated" and "very well-maintained hotel."
Under the leadership of general manager Peter Yip, the hotel recently took steps to increase overall guest satisfaction from an operational approach, including the upgrade to 42-inch flat screen TVs in guest rooms, the addition of hot items to the complimentary continental breakfast selection, and the upgraded TV channel program and complimentary WIFI infra-structure.
