Tsawwassen

. July 13, 11: 59 p.m., 5300-block of 9th Avenue: Unknown suspect attempted to pry open locked door on truck sometime overnight. Damage to locking assembly on driver's side door: $600.

. July 15, 11 a.m., 1200-block of 56th Street: Complainant left his bike locked and in the bike rack outside the grocery store. When he returned several hours later, bike and lock had been stolen. Value of bike: $669.

. July 15, 11: 30 p.m., 1700-block of 56th Street: Vehicle was stopped trying to avoid roadblock. Impaired driver given a 90-day roadside suspension. Vehicle was impounded.

. July 16, 6: 13 a.m., 1500-block of Beach Grove Road: Vehicle was broken into by cutting through soft top on the driver's side. Damage to vehicle: $2,500. Items stolen, valued at $6,455, include Taylor Made golf clubs in bag, Nike golf shoes, Canon camera, Stihl chainsaw, camping tent and cash.

. July 16, 9: 34 p.m., 5000-block of 12th Avenue: Several youths were observed running from umpire's building in park. Police attended and located suspects who admitted they had entered the building to smoke marijuana. A small amount of marijuana was destroyed at the scene.

. July 17, 4: 50 p.m., ferry causeway: Intoxicated male at ferry terminal missed the ferry. Man unable to prove care and control of his vehicle, so it was towed at the owner's expense.

LADNER

. July 11, 10: 03 a.m., 5700-block of Ladner Trunk Road: Complainant reported her son was intimidated by three males who stole his iPod outside a local convenience store. A possible suspect was spoken to but denied any involvement.

. July 11, 11: 43 a.m., 3400-block of Highway 17: Eight batteries, valued at $1,200, were stolen from electronic message board on the highway.

. July 12, 5 a.m., 7900block of Huston Road: Complainant reported a break and enter in progress at his work compound. Police responded and found a male and female suspect trampling through the bushes beside the compound trying to evade police. Police unable to confirm any theft of metal from the compound.

. July 12, 8 p.m., 5000block of Fenton Drive: Vehicle had both passenger side and rear windows smashed and backpacks in vehicle rifled through. Nothing appeared to be stolen. Damage to vehicle: $1,000.

. July 12, 10 p.m., 4500block of 62nd Street: Ford vehicle parked in front of complainant's residence was stolen sometime overnight. Canvass of neighbourhood proved negative. Information was entered on Police National Computer System (CPIC).

. July 12, 4: 32 p.m., 5100-block of Ladner Trunk Road: Loss prevention officer in supermarket detained a male who had selected and concealed $101.80 in cosmetics and left the store without paying. Police were contacted and the suspect was arrested for theft. He was released at the scene with a promise to appear in court at a future date.

. July 14, 9: 19 p.m., 4800-block of Elliott Street: Liquor store reported a male placed a $63 bottle of Bacardi rum in his jacket and left the store without paying. Store to provide police with surveillance video for identification of suspect.

. July 15, 10 p.m., 5100block of Ladner Trunk Road: Unlicensed and prohibited driver stopped by police and vehicle impounded.

. July 15, 8: 58 p.m., 5100-block of Ladner Trunk Road: Supermarket employee hailed down police to report a shoplifter was fleeing from the store. Police located and arrested a youth with $23 worth of stolen goods. The youth was given a court date and released to the custody of his guardian.

. July 15, 11: 59 p.m., 4900-block of 59th Street: Complainant reported his Norco Havoc mountain bike was stolen from a house party he attended. Information was entered on CPIC.

. July 15, 11 p.m., Ladner Harbour Park: Report received of two impaired boaters in a blue and white powerboat. Police located the suspects who left the parking lot by taxi.
