Crews continue to work on cleaning up an oil spill at this hour on a Delta section of Highway 99 that caused northbound delays for the Friday morning commute.

A truck incident just past the Highway 91 overpass around 6 a.m. resulted in the leaking oil and the eventual closures of the right lane and bus lane between the Highway 91 overpass and the Highway 99 southbound entrance.

Traffic at one point was backed up to near King George Highway in South Surrey with only a single lane getting through.
