Daily average case rate in Delta continues to fall

The average daily rate fell to three cases per day in Delta.

Almost nine in ten residents aged 50 and over (89%) have received their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, along with more than four in five (82%) of those aged 18 and over.

Delta’s total vaccination rate was at 81 per cent for residents 12 and older as of June 14, which is the fifth highest rate for B.C. communities.

For B.C, 76.3 per cent of all adults and 74.6 per cent of those 12 and older have received their first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine.

Breaking the Delta numbers further, the first dose vaccination rate for those 12 and older in North Delta was 79 per cent, while it was 83 per cent for both Ladner and Tsawwassen.

The vaccination rate for those 18 and older in North Delta was 81 per cent, while it was 85 per cent for Ladner and Tsawwassen was 84 per cent.
