Bus stop improvements and the installation of two bus shelters will soon be in place along Highway 17 and 112th Street.
Delta council has approved a contract for the installation of the bus shelters. They made the approval the Sept. 20th meeting of council.
The work involves the construction of concrete landings and bus shelters located at the existing bus stops at Highway 17, just east of 52nd Street and along 112th Street at Bridlington Drive.
According to a Delta staff report, the work is necessary to enhance roadway infrastructure and safety for Delta’s transit users.
