Delta Firefighters took quick action in knocking down a barn/shop fire Thursday night.
According to Deputy Fire Chief Dave Wood, Delta Fire received a call just after 10 p.m. and quickly had 16 members on scene.
“The fire was contained to the exterior lean to area of the structure and the crews did an excellent job at knocking the fire down quickly and saving the structure,” said Wood. “The fire was located on River Road West across from the Westham Island Bridge.”
Wood said there were no injuries.
