The Delta Hospital Foundation picked the winning ticket in its Mini-Home Lottery this week.

With over 2,000 tickets sold and almost $15,000 in sales, the farm-themed family activity centre has found its permanent home with Susan Norton-Kiss of Ladner.

The winning ticket was drawn at 10 a.m. on Tuesday.

Norton-Kiss, her husband and her daughter are thrilled with their prize. They were invited to the foundation office to receive their congratulatory letter, the keys and a first look inside their new mini-home.

"We thank the thousands of supporter for choosing our exciting lottery - and for choosing to support the vital work performed here at Delta Hospital," said Delta Hospital Foundation executive director Teresa Cooper.

"And especially the three amazing community members who built and donated this mini-home to us: Sarah Gallop, Brandon Smith and Danny Christian.

The Delta Hospital Foundation raises funds so Deltans have access to the best medical services close to home. Since 1988, the foundation has raised over $22 million.
