Summer vacation time may be over for kids but fun at Delta's three water parks will continue a little while longer.

Noting the water parks normally stop operating after Labour Day, Coun. Scott Hamilton, who's on the parks and recreation commission, said the municipality has decided to keep water parks going because the weather forecast looks good. He said the parks could be open two weeks longer if the weather remains warm. The municipality has a water park in Annieville in North Delta, Memorial Park in Ladner and recently opened one at Tsawwassen's Diefenbaker Park thanks to the efforts of the Rotary Club of Tsawwassen.
