Delta police asking for help finding missing North Delta woman

Delta police are looking for the public's help in locating a missing North Delta woman. Elizabeth Tempest, 69, was last seen leaving her residence in the 11700-block of 72nd Avenue at around 5 p.m. on Wednesday.

Delta police are looking for the public's help in locating a missing North Delta woman.

Elizabeth Tempest, 69, was last seen leaving her residence in the 11700-block of 72nd Avenue at around 5 p.m. on Wednesday. She left to go for a walk in North Delta.

When she did not return from her walk later that evening, staff at her residence called police, as there was concern for her wellbeing.

"Mrs. Tempest suffers from Type 2 diabetes and is required to take medication on a daily basis, which she did not take with her when she left home," said Delta police spokesperson Const. Ciaran Feenan. "Due to her medical issues, police are concerned for her wellbeing and safety and are seeking the assistance of the public in trying to locate Mrs. Tempest."

She was last seen wearing a light brown jacket over a red and white checkered blouse, brown pants and blue shoes. Tempest is described as being a Caucasian female, 5'4" tall and weighing 140 pounds. She has short salt and pepper coloured hair and was wearing glasses.
