North Delta

Break, Enter and Theft - 700 block Audley Blvd. A white, 2002 Peterbilt tractor unit was stolen from the complainant's locked compound. The vehicle was stolen between 2011-07-06 at 1400 hrs & 2011-07-05 at 0700 hrs. Entry to the compound was gained by cutting the compound fence. The thieves then punched the driver's side door-lock. The lock was left at the scene and was seized for forensic examination. The vehicle had decals of flames on the front wheel fenders.

Theft of Auto - 8300 block 112th St. The complainant reported his brown, 1997 Pontiac Grand Prix was stolen from the local pub parking lot sometime between 2100 hrs on 2011-07-03 and 1400 hrs on 2011-07-05. All keys are accounted for. The vehicle had a 1/4 tank gas. It is valued at $2200. There is minor damage to rear driver side passenger door. There is a set of Taylor Made golf clubs in trunk, value $500.

Theft of Auto - 11800 block 89A Ave. A black, 2006, Ford F350 pickup truck was taken overnight July 4-5 from the above location. The vehicle was parked, locked, with the alarm activated. It had 3/4 of a tank of gas.

South Delta

Theft - 7100 block Progress Place. Thieves stole a small palette load of Galvanized steel footings (20 footings) from the side of building. This is within a gated compound, however access by foot is unobstructed. Each footing weighs 57lbs, so a vehicle was likely used to transport the stolen steel. Approximate value: $2000.

DPD Events/Program

Delta Police Department, Student's Police Academy began yesterday and will run for one week, with the Student's graduating next Tuesday.
