It's clear there's a municipal election on the horizon with the number of campaign signs erected along Delta's streets.

It's clear there's a municipal election on the horizon with the number of campaign signs erected along Delta's streets. From plain signage to snazzier efforts, candidates for mayor, council and the school board are trying to attract voter support with signs. The Optimist asked:

GERRY CLARK

I'd say no they don't. It kind of amuses me when you see sign after sign after sign for the same person down the street. I'm not sure how we're supposed to be impacted by that.

JOAN NICHOLSON

No. I want to see the information that they have. I like the flyers in the mailbox.

TIM BOWMAN

No. I think people have made up their mind already. The signs have got someone's name. I think you've either made your mind up or you haven't.

KATIE PYBUS

No, personally, they don't. The ads in the paper, the write-ups about the people, the more I learn about each person running in the election is what turns me to vote for them.

Linda Allen No because I haven't had time to go through all the information to know who wants to save the Southlands.
