The Delta Police Violence Suppression Team continues to make an impact in its efforts to curb illegal drug and gang activity in the community.

Recently the team of highly-trained members of the DPD utilized two of its highly-trained four-legged members.

Ziva and Remi (and their handlers, Const. Fiddick and Const. Gahunia) assisted the team in locating drugs and firearms.

Last weekend, Ziva was deployed to a file where a driver was potentially impaired by drugs. Ziva assisted with a drug search of the vehicle, and the driver and vehicle were removed from the road. Earlier in the day Ziva got to watch the Snowbirds practice at Boundary Bay.
