Expect delays on Alex Fraser Bridge tonight

Limited northbound lanes due to scheduled maintenance work

Avoid northbound on the Alex Fraser Bridge tonight if you can.

Two northbound lanes will be closed for bridge maintenance starting at 8:30 p.m. The lanes will remain closed until 4 a.m. on Friday (April 1) morning. Traffic personnel will be directing traffic where the work is taking place.

The maintenance is in addition to ongoing construction work on Highway 91 northbound between 72nd Avenue and NorDel Way that isn’t expected to be completed until November.
