COVID-19 didn’t stop the second annual Festival of Lights at Tsawwassen Springs from being a huge success.

On Monday, a cheque for $32,510 was presented to the Delta Hospital and Community Health Foundation to purchase a much needed Colonoscope for Delta Hospital. That’s nearly $4,000 more than last year’s inaugural event.

The money was raised through sponsorship of 100 Christmas trees located near the clubhouse at the Tsawwassen Springs golf course.

The trees were also generously donated by Harris Nursery.

The Festival of Lights will remain on display until Jan. 1 starting at 4 p.m. daily. COVID-19 health and safety measures are in place.
