Noon Parade and a spectacular fireworks show part of a day full of events
Point Roberts Fouth of July 2017
Here is the always popular Point Roberts' Fourth of July Parade back in 2017.

Point Roberts is inviting their Canadian neighbours across the border on Monday for an action-packed day of events to celebrate the Fourth of July.

The day gets underway with a pancake breakfast at the community centre starting at 8 a.m. On the menu are pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausages, biscuits and gravy. The cost is $7 for adults and $5 for kids with all proceeds going to Point Roberts Emergency Preparedness (PREP).

There is also $35 rounds of golf at the Bald Eagle Golf Course from 8 a.m. to noon.

At noon, the ever-popular 4th of July Parade will run along Gulf Road from Marine Drive to Tyee Drive. This year’s theme is “Party in the USA.”

A Classic Car Show gets underway at the Breakers parking lot starting at 1 p.m.

At the same time, a market with various vendors will be held at the community centre until 3 p.m. More food will also be available thanks to the Point Roberts firefighters hosting a barbecue.

There is a barbecue at Kiniski's Reef from 1 to 3 p.m.

Starting at 3 p.m. is the Breakwaters Party at the Point Roberts Marina. It will feature live entertainment, kids activities, a beer garden and outdoor barbecue.

The day will conclude with a spectacular fireworks show at the marina. It’s scheduled to start at 10:30 p.m.
