The following are some of the calls of interest the Delta police responded to in the South Delta area between Monday, Oct. 3 and Monday, Oct. 10:

Tsawwassen

. October 3, 2: 45 p.m., 1300-block of 56th Street: Complainant reported theft of two cushions and an artificial plant. The crime was recorded by video surveillance. Still under investigation.

. October 3, 5: 47 p.m., 5900-block of 12th Avenue: A single-vehicle collision occurred when the vehicle left the roadway and hit two trees. Suspect admitted consuming one glass of wine at lunch but after failing the ASD, she admitted to having consumed more. No injuries. Damage to vehicle and trees.

. October 7, 5: 33 p.m., 1200-block of 56th Street: A vehicle reported to be involved in a theft of products from a store was observed and a traffic stop was initiated. The basket with the merchandise was in plain view and after being charted, suspect admitted to the theft. Male was banned from the store and released on a promise to appear in court.

. October 8, 10: 14 a.m., 300-block of Rosehill Wynd: Complainant reported the valtag off his vehicle had been stolen. Entered onto police database.

. October 9, 1: 58 p.m., 1400-block of Braid Road: Complainant reported a GPS and change had been stolen from her vehicle's unsecured rear door. No surveillance. No witnesses.

. October 9, 3: 52 p.m., 5900-block of 17A Avenue: Unknown persons/vehicles drove onto the soccer field and did doughnuts, causing damage estimated at $1,000. No surveillance.

No witnesses or suspects. . October 9, 1 p.m., 1600-block of Enderby Avenue: Subject reported a late theft from auto from her unlocked vehicle. A hands-free device and small change were taken. No damage to vehicle.

October 10, 2: 06 a.m., 1500-block of 56th Street: Police received a report of a dispute that escalated into a physical altercation, which resulted in a young male being transported to hospital with head injuries. The suspect was arrested outside his parents' residence without incident. Investigation still ongoing.

Ladner

. October 6, 10: 30 a.m., 5000-block of 47A Avenue: Complainant locked several bicycles together in the basement of the complex, but the lock was cut and one of the bikes was missing. Entry was probably gained through an unprotected door.

. October 9, 8: 30 p.m., 4600-block of Morgan Place: Complainant reported he left his two vehicles in his driveway. Unknown suspect entered the vehicles and threw the contents around. There was no theft.

. October 9, 8: 30 p.m., 5200-block of Lynn Place: Complainant reported he had parked his car in his driveway and failed to lock it. The next morning he noticed his glove compartment was open and his iPod was missing.
