The Delta Museum and Archives Society is once again hosting an Antique Identification and Appraisal Clinic, but this time it's taking it to North Delta. Two sessions on Saturday, Nov.

The Delta Museum and Archives Society is once again hosting an Antique Identification and Appraisal Clinic, but this time it's taking it to North Delta.

Two sessions on Saturday, Nov. 3 provide an opportunity to find out the worth of that unrealized treasure lurking in your attic or garage or that family collection piece.

Well-known antiques appraiser Al Bowen will identify and date objects from any historical period and will provide a detailed history, description and verbal appraisal.

More than just providing a market value for an object, through entertaining anecdotes Bowen will share his wealth of knowledge from more than 30 years in the antique appraisal business.

The clinic will be held at the George Mackie Library, 8440-112th St. There are two sessions to choose from: noon to 1: 30 p.m. or 2: 30 to 4 p.m.

The cost is $12 per person, which includes a verbal identification and appraisal of two objects. Additional objects are $5 each to a maximum of two additional objects. Observers are welcome at $5 per person.

Space is limited, so pre-registration and payment are required. Call 604-9469322 or stop by the Delta Museum to purchase a ticket.
