The Delta police department has a new media liaison officer in Const. Ciaran Feenan.
A local resident, Feenan is a 14-year veteran in policing, originally starting his career with the Vancouver police department. Feenan's policing experience includes patrol, youth services gang squad, school liaison unit, crowd control unit and firearms interdiction team. He's been with the Delta police department for a year. Feenan has been an active member of the Delta sporting community through his affiliation with soccer, football and baseball. He replacesSgt. Sharlene Brooks as the media liaison for the department. Brooks is entering a supervisory role and going back on patrol.
