New plan pitched for Ladner's Cromie Park

The improvements are part of Delta’s Parks Sustainable Infrastructure Funding program
Cromie Park in Ladner, BC
Issues with the washrooms and storage shed at Cromie Park forced the city to close the structure this spring.

The city is proposing new additions for Cromie Park in Ladner.

Currently gathering public feedback, as well as consulting with sports user groups, the city proposes a master plan that features general park improvements including a community gathering space under the shade structure near the new pickleball courts and a small playground.

The plan also proposes new baseball facilities, including a new field house and revitalization of the existing all-weather field as a baseball field, as well as a relocated and enlarged parking lot.

The existing path connection to Ladner Elementary School would be retained.

Council has already approved this year’s operating budget, which set aside funding for improvements at several parks including Cromie Park.
