We asked readers “What is your favourite thing to do in the summer?" The poll ran from July 27 to Aug. 3 and received 274 responses, including 140 local readers.
Leading the way with 35 percent of the vote was backyard barbecue. Going to the beach or lake received 27 percent of the votes. Camping was next at 21 percent while another 16 percent voted for outdoor dining as their favourite summer activity.
Results are based on an online study of adult Delta Optimist readers that are located in Ladner. The margin of error - which measures sample variability - is +/- 5.89%, 19 times out of 20.
