Open Space Yoga will once again be the host of an annual charitable shopping day with proceeds going to the Delta Hospice Society.

Visit Open Space Yoga at 4880 Delta St. this Saturday between 11: 30 a.m. and 4 p.m. to shop for items and services from retailers such as Open Space Yoga, Sonja Picard Jewelry, Upstart Crow, Buttercups Children's Boutique, The Portal, Dinner Bay Designs and Potters for Hospice.

It is the perfect start to holiday shopping and a great way to find unique items to complete shopping lists.

Bombay Joe's will be providing food at the event and henna tattoos will be offered by Henna by Hini.

Fifteen per cent of all sales will be donated to the Delta Hospice Society, with the exception of Potters for Hospice, which will be donating 100 per cent of all pottery sold that day.

"Michael (Rudd) is a true inspiration to us. Between his efforts at organizing the popular Heart of Ladner Night Market, candlelight yoga classes and this annual shopping day for hospice, we can't emphasize our appreciation enough for the time, effort and passion Michael has put forth for hospice," says Delta Hospice Society executive director Nancy Macey.

"I am so pleased to be able to organize such a fun and timely shopping day for hospice. I am so appreciative of the continued support being shown by all of the businesses involved in the shopping day," says Rudd, owner of Open Space Yoga.

"I have been touched by hospice and when I approach individuals or businesses and talk about hospice, it means so much that they want to get involved too. I don't want the public to forget that the hospice buildings are not paid for yet."

Open Space Yoga will be offering a wonderful new bamboo line of clothing called MOVEMENT. With each piece purchased, in addition to the 15 per cent gift to hospice, a donation will be made to pamoja. org, an organization that provides micro financing in Kenya.

The Delta Hospice Society is a non-profit, charitable organization and the operator of the Harold & Veronica Savage Centre for Supportive Care, the Irene Thomas Hospice and the Hospice Cottage Thrift Store in Tsawwassen.
