Public asked for help locating missing TFN member: UPDATE

UPDATE on this story, Aug. 5: Delta Police on Thursday, Aug. 4 on social media said Alisa Hearl was located safe.

Police are thanking everyone who kept their eyes out and shared the news release.

Surrey RCMP are asking for the public’s to help locate Alisa Hearl, 42.

The Tsawwassen First Nation on Facebook confirmed she is a TFN member.

The RCMP say Hearl was last seen on July 29, 2022 at 4:30 p.m., near 96 Avenue and King George Boulevard.

Police are concerned for Hearl’s wellbeing as she has not made contact with her usual friends or associates.

Hearl is described as an Indigenous woman, five-foot-five, medium build with black and white hair and hazel eyes.

She was last seen wearing a black hat, grey Reebok t-shirt, burgundy yoga pants, white/grey shoes and carrying a dark grey backpack.
